Best After-Work

This working day was harassing and you just want to relax. To have a drink with your mates in a friendly atmosphere. To meet some new faces outside your working place OR to see your colleagues outside your working place.

In a word: it’s around 7 p.m., it’s Aperol Spritz time !

We have selected the best places for afterwork in Zueri and want to share them with you, lovely Zuercherin:

Razzia: This former Cinema (the fisrt one in Zürich)  has been freshly renew. The bar turns to be a lively, casual, arty afterwork, where you will enjoy one’s of the barmaid ( bargirl?) cocktail or a glass of (good) wine. The place is small, with a kind of Art Deco decorating, remaining that the building was built in the 1920’s. High tables to seat in team or comfortable low chair for small talks… In case you want to follow with a dinner, the restaurant is right at your left. In summer you will enjoy the garden. (Seefeldstrasse 82 – stop Feldegstrasse)

Gainsbourg: Again , here is the little new one in Seefeld. Gainsbourg is a warmly bar, perfect for afterwork. It offers regular events with guest DJ’s every evening of the week, including Sunday. Gainsbourg is also a place for art lovers, with a new artist hosted every month. (Kreuzstrasse 26) Little + : you can rent the place to organize private events for small groups.

The Frau Gerolds Garten: is THE new totally crazy and arty place to be, opened in may 2013. We love the relaxed atmosphere in a total sub-urban background. Grilled sausages, fresh beers, dropped ties and heels . Just come as you are. (Geroldstrasse 23, 8005 Zuerich – Hardbrücke)

La Stanza (Bleicherweg 10): a classic – super when you have the chance to find a place near the Limmat. A bit tricky to find a seated place inside – more the type of bar where you’ll have a drink at the bar.

L’Atelier (Talacker 16): a small terrace on the pavement – inside: a large fireplace , small tables for two – love it to meet a friend for a small talk – and a friendly staff. Atmosphere of banker and lawyer who just want to relax. Crowd from 7.30 pm

The Talacker: A classic for bankers, lawyers and “green”. A bit classy with a hot ambiance. Plus: when it’s getting cold, go inside. (Talacker 41, Paradeplatz)

The Rimini: Young and chill, the Rimini is a badi turned into a bar-on-the-lake at night. Crowed and easy going. A bit less trendy but still in the wind since Frau Gerolds Garten made an appearance on the Zuerich pre-nightlife scene. (Badweg 10, 8001 Zuerich, near Selnau)

The Kaufleuten: Do we really need to introduce it? Quite but comfortable. We better like it when concerts are held. (Pelikanplatz, 8001 Zuerich)
